The Elite Conference

If you are going to be a Junior or Senior in high school and you are interested in teaching agriculture – this conference is for you!

The Elite Conference is hands-on, packed with activities and is designed to get you off the right start in your future in agricultural education.

During the Elite Conference you will learn about the ag teaching profession, talk with university representatives, current ag teachers, plus more!

Eldon Witt Scholarship
The trust of the Eldon E. Witt Agriculture Education Scholarship Program is geared toward the Agriculture Education Profession. Although the program has many target areas, the main target of this program and application is geared toward a College Student in the Agriculture Education Curriculum at one of the four major agriculture colleges in Illinois. The scholarship is to be used to help fund the recipient’s expenses during his/her semester of student teaching. Applicants are limited to College Juniors Only.

Sam Taylor Scholarship
One or more $500 to $1,000 scholarship(s) established by the Illinois Association FFA in memory of Sam Taylor, 1991-92 State FFA President.  The Sam Taylor Memorial Agriculture Education Scholarship is available to Illinois FFA members who are a graduating senior planning to major in agriculture education or a student enrolled in an agriculture program leading to a degree in agriculture education at a two or four-year college or university.
